Celtic Cross Security Solutions LLC offers various safety courses and training options.

Safety Courses & Training

Our scheduled unarmed and armed guard courses take place once twice a month, Monday-Wednesday. Unarmed guard classes take place the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Two day armed guard courses are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday and Wednesday of each month (following the unarmed guard courses)

Unarmed Guard Course FAQ's

Q: Why do I need this course?
A: Per ARS 32-2632.A In the state of Arizona to become an unarmed security guard you are required to attend
8 hours of pre assignment training.

Q: What do I need for this course?
A: You need a pen and paper for note taking, and your drivers license or ID

Q: What does this course include?
A: This course provides you with the required 8 hours of class room training as well as finger prints, passport photos and all the paperwork needed to submit your application to DPS.

Q: What does this course not include?
A: This course does not include the required fees upon submission of your application to DPS.

Q: Will there be breaks?
A: During our training there will be approximately 2-4 10 minute breaks as well as a 1 hour lunch break.
 A small kitchenette with microwave and fridge is available if you'd like to bring food and snacks.
Coffee tea and bottled water is provided. 

Armed Guard Course FAQ's

Q: Why do I need this course?
A: Per ARS 32-2632.D In the state of Arizona to become an armed security guard you are required to attend 16 hours of initial firearms instruction, after completing the 8 hour unarmed security guard course.

Q: What do I need for this course?
A: Before taking this course you must already be an unarmed guard in the state of Arizona or have recently taken the unarmed guard training. You will need a pen and paper for notetaking, photo ID, a duty belt, duty holster (level 2 or 3), duty sized pistol (3.5" or longer bbl), a minimum of 2 magazines and 50 rounds of ammo to qualify. 

Q: What does this course include?
A: This course provides you with the required 16 additional hours of training as well as fingerprints, passport photos, range fees and all paperwork needed to submit your application to DPS.

Q: What does this course not include?
A: This course does not include the required fees upon submission of your application to DPS.

Conceal Carry License Class

This class available to be scheduled at your convenience. We ask that you have  4 person minimum in attendance to schedule the course. We do offer large group discounts on pricing. Please contact us for more information.

$50 per person course Cost (includes classroom course, DPS Packet complete with fingerprint cards.)

Unarmed Guard Training

Armed Guard Training

(2 day course)
$100 per person
Personal firearms are required.

Unarmed guard training is required as a prerequisite before attending armed guard training

Unarmed & Armed Guard Training Courses Combined 
 $125 per person
You will leave the course with all required paperwork, photos and fingerprint cards to submit your application to DPS.

To receive the multi day discount please make sure you register for the unarmed & armed 3 day course training. 

Firearm Safety Course

Basic Firearm safety courses available upon request.

$35 Class Cost, Class begins at 8:00 am

Treat yourself and friends to a one-day classroom and range course focusing on basic firearm mechanics, safety, range etiquette, shooting stances, and conceal carry tactics taught by NRA Certified Instructor William Saunders. Lunch will be provided with range instruction to follow. Transportation can be provided to and from range. 
Personal firearms are welcome. Rental equipment is available including ammo for an additional $25.
Extra ammo will be available for purchase.

Women’s Only Firearm Safety Course

$35 Class Cost, Class begins at 8:00 am.
This specific course is available upon request.

Often women who are new to firearms get intimidated participating in a course also offered to others who may be more advanced in their firearm experience. We offer the opportunity for you to gather some girlfriends and take a course specifically for women who want to learn, try out a variety of firearms and conceal carry tactics. This gives women the opportunity to get a feel for different firearms, gain some knowledge and become more comfortable handling them.
